Work-team Part 2
It was great to be with friends from home. The Bishop family are missionary staff members from Camp Forest Springs, our former place of ministry. They are the first, but I’m sure won’t be the last of the staff families to come and visit us in Mexico.
After church, we went to the town of Tepoztlan and did some tourist things, shoping, hiking up to the pyramid.

Hosting Our First Work Team
While there have been many work teams at El Monte in recent years, we are officially hosting our first team as a family. We’re very happy to have here the Fite Memorial Baptist Church group here from Marion, Ohio as well as the Carl Bishop family from Camp Forest Springs in Wisconsin. Andrew Bishop is the oldest son of Carl and Becky Bishop and he is the associate pastor at Fite memorial.
We are very busy these days and the Internet is not readily available to us so we appreciate you checking back from time to time and we will continue to post on our blog. Work team pictures are coming soon!

Before Leaving for Mexico—Part 2
Our second week was spent in Wisconsin at Camp Forest Springs. We went to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of that ministry. There was a very large and very special weekend of celebration and we were so glad to be there to join in. We have been involved with CFS going back to 1983 which was the 25th Anniversary!
