Thank You for Praying!

The reason I haven’t posted much this week is that there has been very little change in my mom’s condition. She’s making minor improvements at a very slow pace. They were able to take her off one blood pressure medication, so that is good.

A bit of encouragement! She was off the ventilator for an hour today! That’s the longest she’s been able to be off since last Monday night. Her heart rate began to rise so they put her back on. The fever that she had last night is gone now. She is a bit more alert today but that is because they have her less sedated. She is reaching for and squeezing the hands of family members who visit. Her heart rate is good and more regular than it has been. Please continue to pray.

Some other family news...

Roxanne, Kerra and I have completed our spring semester mid-term exams! Since Kerra is in the second semester, she is half-way done! Roxanne and I will need to complete two semesters so we are 1/4 of the way done!!!

Peter got braces!
