We took down the “For Sale” sign today! We have an accepted offer to purchase our home in Westboro. It is a solid and straight forward offer and we anticipate “smooth saling”. Please do praise the Lord with us--closing is set for August 23. That happens to be our last day in this area. God’s timing is perfect!

A Weekend of Celebration at Camp Forest Springs
This past Friday night was Counselor Graduation at Camp Forest Springs. Pictured above is our daughter Kerra with her “class” of counselors as they finished the week of SuperHIGH camp. All of them completed the Counselor Training Institute program. It is a seven-week program that starts with two weeks of intensive training and then five weeks of youth camps. Wilson Family Reunion 7-7-07
My Dad is from a family of 12 and my mom is an only child. With that scenario, I still have 64 first cousins! A week after our departure from Camp Forest Springs, Roxanne and I traveled to Ohio for a Wilson Family Reunion. It was a huge and well attended event held at my Aunt Vivian’s farm. The Empty Office
On Sunday, July 1, Roxanne and I finished packing and cleaning my office at camp. As we carried out the last things, we both began to cry. Dick Angelo and Matt Hoffland, fellow staff members, were there and we prayed together. It was a very hard moment for us, but while we have tears in our eyes, we have peace in our hearts. We know that we have to go through a “letting go” process and that involves mourning. With that said, we want to be clear that there is no doubt that God is leading us. It has been amazing to receive so many encouraging phone calls and emails as we sense God’s love through His people.

Out with a Bang!
On the evening of our last day at Camp, June 30th, we hosted a summer staff social at our house. It was a great bash with about 70 people in attendance! We were pleased to have so many of the support staff, adventure staff and counselors come to our home. The summer staff leadership decorated our yard for a Hawaiian Luau.
