This Week at El Monte
I read in “My Utmost for His Highest” devotional this morning, ”Our reach must exceed our grasp.” It’s a reference to our faith and our patience to wait for the Vision. It’s the idea of reaching by faith beyond what we have in our grasp toward what God has called us to do. These pictures may not look like much to you, but this is a very encouraging and exciting next step of faith for the vision at El Monte!
We’re ”reaching” ahead by faith to develop the first soccer field!

A Man’s Hike
Well...girls can do this too, but none did so I’m calling this our “Man’s Hike.” Last Saturday Peter and I and a few fellow missionaries took a weekend trip to climb Iztaccihuatl (Eestas-seewatl more or less), one of the majestic mountains of Mexico.

Work Team from Camp Forest Springs--Part 1
This last week we were blessed to receive a work team from Camp Forest Springs in Wisconsin!
These guys were some of the seasonal staff at Camp Forest Springs this past winter. It was actually last fall that God lead them to form a team and make plans to come and serve a week at El Monte during Easter break. They made a real difference at El Monte.
