A Few Pictures from Language School
We are within days of finishing this semester at language school! Here are some pictures of all the language school students here at Rio Grande Bible Institute.

The above picture is the spring semester class of which Roxanne and I are a part of. Most of our classmates will be returning in the fall for the second semester.
Every school year, there are two groups of students so a new class will come in for their first semester next fall. It must be interesting for the teachers who teach the same material over and over again every semester. Thinking of that makes me appreciate their patience with us as we learn. They have a special ministry helping to prepare missionaries.

This group of second semester students will graduate on May 8. Kerra is a part of this group. She and two other girls skipped first semester and joined this group last January.
In addition to graduating from RGBI on May 8, Kerra will graduate from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 17. She has completed coursework for an AA degree from there in Bible with an emphasis in business. We applaud her efforts as she finished this by doing distance education classes (via Internet) while in language school here in Texas!
Here are a few more candid pictures from recent days in school.

This is our first-semester grammar class which we have every weekday morning at 8:15.

On Wednesdays at the 11:00 hour, all the missionary language school students meet together for Spiritual Life Class. A pastor from a local church comes in to teach this class in English. We appreciate the school’s desire to give us time each week to consider Christ-centered spiritual truths in our “heart language”.

Every Thursday we break into first and second semester groups for our “class meetings”. This is a time of sharing and prayer as well as for any business we need to conduct. This week is a big week for us because the first semester students are planning a Koinonia Dinner event for the graduating class. This event will take place on Friday evening this week.
Again, we appreciate your prayer as we work to finish well this spring semester!
