Casting Vision for 2010
Kyle and I arrived safely in Chicago on Tuesday night, February 23 and have spent time with supporters, local churches and sharing in house meetings. We’ve been in Illinois, Iowa and are now in St. Louis for more house meetings, speaking in chapel at a Christian school, and making several personal visits. We will finish the week with more meetings in Iowa and Minnesota.
Vision 2010
So what is Vision 2010? It’s a year-long focus on the growth and development of this new camping ministry. We’re asking people to join with us in prayer for God to do His work in provision and progress. We continue to see a steady growth in the use of the facilities at El Monte and we still only have one cabin completed. It is especially evident that more cabins are needed as well as additional meeting rooms and recreation areas. Vision 2010 paints the picture and is a call to prayer!
What we’re asking God for in 2010:
-Completion of the second cabin
-2 additional camp cabins (total of 4)
-Bathroom and shower houses
-Grass for the second soccer field
-Additional picnic shelter/meeting room
Praise God for momentum moving forward!
We have the funds in hand and construction has begun on the permanent maintenance building. In addition we’ve been able to purchase some much needed vehicles and install a transformer on the camp ridge.
What God’s already provided for in 2010:
-First phase of the maintenance building
-Four wheeler
-Pick-up truck
-Permanent power to the camp ridge
