CCI Mexico Report
Kerra and I had a great trip to Mexico the weekend of November 15-19! It was a quick trip, but included a visit to El Monte (pictured above) and attending the weekend Christian Camping International convention at Campamento Kikoten before flying home on Monday.
This was one of the largest conventions for CCI Mexico--there were about 150 people in attendance! Can you find our faces in the crowd?
We had the privilege of visiting with Robert Bruno, Director of CCI Latin America.
The worship, general sessions, and workshops were well done. Worship was led by some of the WEC missionary team from El Monte.
The food and fellowship were very good.
The two final nights of the convention, I stayed with my friends, Raul and Analilia. This is the house that God has provided for them just a few miles from Kikoten. They are newlyweds as of October 2006! It was great to see how God is blessing their new life and home.
Thank you for praying for us as we traveled into Mexico. Kerra and I had no problems finding each other in the Mexico City Airport. We are very thankful for the privilege of going. This was my fourth CCI/Mexico convention and Kerra’s first.

I’d love to take a summer vacation to El Monte some year when you all are settled there.
