Construction of Second Soccer Field Underway
We completed the first soccer field last June and it has been used nearly every week since then. We are working toward being able to host multiple groups at one time so a second field is essential.
The second field will be terraced down from the first field.
With a small parking area in between the two fields.
In this next picture, if you look carefully, you can see one of the goal posts on the first field one terrace up.
This next view is looking straight down the valley from the first field.
As rocks are found, they are dug out and used for fill to level out the rest of the terrace.
Looking at the horizon line in the following picture, you can see the roof of the cabin on the camp ridge.
The scenery around these fields is amazing.
We’re trusting the Lord for what is needed to be able to finish the topsoil and sod to make this second field usable in 2010!

Looks great. Have you been lifting weights to get ready to move the sod?
