Fridays

I’m finding that by Friday, we are exhausted.  As a week goes on I’m sleeping harder each night and by Friday, I’m ready for the weekend to rest.

Maybe our bodies will still adjust to the rigors of this language learning routine, but for now, we will have to be careful how much we do on the weekends.  We need to be rested for Mondays.

It’s been a good week though harder than the week before.  We have added to our knowledge and are seeing more of the patterns of Spanish speech.  In Grammar we have found a few “exceptions to the rules” and are realizing it doesn’t always pay to ask “why”.

We came across this poem about English that helps explain that in any language there are some things that are just because…

Thank you for praying for us and with us!  We are asking God for this language.  We have take-home grammar tests this weekend.  With all the work, we are still enjoying the learning process.

Please do pray for our learning, our health, and our management of daily life.

Hi,
Talked to your Mom this week Roxanne and caught up a bit on your language work.  We will continue to pray.
Your warm weather sounds great, but I do enjoy the beauty of the snow and even cleaning the walks since the snow has been light.
Max had gall bladder sugery Tuesday and has not had enough pain to take a pain pill but he developed a cold that has made him cough and not feel good.

Thanks for your updates.  Nice to see from the WEBSITE that Paul knows how to do KP and especially slice papaya (or PAWPAW depending where in the world you are).  You guys are in our thoughts and prayers.
