Graduation, A Wedding, and Good-Byes
This has been an event-filled week here at RGBI! Kerra, Roxanne, and I finished our finals on Wednesday and Thursday and Kerra graduated on Thursday night.
First the Bible Institute students received their diplomas, then the Language School Students received theirs. The commencement ceremony ended with the faculty standing behind all the graduates for prayer.
Friday was a packing day and then a very special wedding for Julie Kracht and Abi Ahumuda. Julie worked with us at Camp Forest Springs for a number of years and now is the Administrative Assistant to the President of Rio Grande Bible Institute. Abi is a Bible Institute student and gifted musician. It was a privilege to be here and witness this beautiful evening!
Sorry this last picture is blurry, but I decided to post it anyway. These gals, the Bender Sisters, came down from Wisconsin for Julie’s wedding. We know them from Camp Forest Springs!
Then come all the good-byes as we prepare to leave for the summer. Here are some random pictures with some of the friends we’ve made here in Texas.
