Spring Music Recital
Rio Grande Bible Institute has a dedicated staff in the music department. They teach a variety of lessons for instruments and voice for all the students and their families. This year, Kyle and Joelle have both been taking lessons so they had the privilege of performing in the spring recital.
Kyle has been taking guitar lessons all year. He started when we were in Philadelphia last fall and continued when we came here in January. He did really well playing with a background sound track. He’s already making plans for the fall recital.
Joelle did both voice and piano. She sang her song completely in Spanish and even rolled her “r"s. She did a beautiful job and someone told her that she didn’t have an accent. We’re proud of both of these kids!
Peter would have participated with his trombone, but you might remember that he just got his braces!
This next picture doesn’t have anything to do with the recital, but all of this reminds us that our kids are growing up fast. Joelle recently turned 12 and for her birthday, she got to go out with the girls and get her ears pierced. Memories were made!

Notice the clerk in the background where we got Joelle’s ears pierced. She had as much fun as we did.
