Una Fiesta!
Every Sunday night a group of people from the local church gather to play volleyball. We have played a lot of volleyball this summer!! But last Sunday night was a special event. It was a birthday celebration for one of our WEC team members, David Mitchell. He and his family are sharing our rented house here this summer. David is seated in the center of the picture below in the yellow “El Monte” shirt.
“Feliz Cumpleanos” is how you say, “Happy Birthday” in Spanish.
There were so many people that wanted to play volleyball, we formed 5 or 6 teams and only played to 5 points before the winners took on the next team. There was one dominant team that we were all trying to beat, but they just kept winning!
Others enjoyed the trampoline and the pool, also in our yard.
Most of these kids ended up throwing each other in the pool in their cloths!
As the evening went on, we prepared dinner and enjoyed a time of singing and laughter and great fellowship.

Wish we could of been there to help celebrate
Davids Birthday. Looks like alot of fun. It is fun to recognize familiar faces from when we were there. You guys sure know how to have fun playing volleyball!

Thanks for all the updates! Great to see the relationships you are all developing. That will make it that much easier to go back in the winter! Not to mention warm weather?
