Vacation Bible School
Last week, the local evangelical church here in Ticuman held it’s annual week of Bible school. In 2006, our family helped with teaching and games and there were about 80 kids in attendance. This year there were 130 kids!
At the closing ceremony, each age group shared a song and quoted some of the many Bible verses that they had memorized.
I didn’t count, but after a Gospel presentation by the pastor’s wife, these are the kids that went forward to pray to receive Christ!!
Kyle was one of the acknowledged helpers for the week. He got up and went early every day to help move equipment and set up the various classroom areas. He’s at the far left in this picture.

Praise the Lord for these decisions for Christ.
My prayer is that they would be genuine and lasting; and that the follow-up ministry would be effective in connecting them (and their parents) to a church that will continue to teach them the whole counsel of God; and that they would all grow up to be men and women of God.
