WEC Mexico Field Conference
One of the first official events we participated in after arriving here in Mexico was the annual WEC Mexico Mission Field Conference. It’s a family event held at a small resort for a full week. Here is a picture of our entire team.

The conference actually began at one our teammate’s homes with a day of prayer where we broke into groups of men and women to share testimonies and pray for one another.
Then the week-long event followed at the resort in the nearby town of Tehuixtla. There were meetings with numerous reports from the various missionaries.
Each morning after breakfast there was a message brought by our WEC-USA Sending Base leaders, Louis and Susan Sutton.
The theme for the week was the resurrection of Lazarus by Jesus. The missionary kids did a great re-enactment of the Bible story found in John 11. There were some poignant thoughts in the messages about Lazarus’ need to have help taking off the grave clothes. As believers living a transformed life, there are times we realize that we too need to shed the “grave clothes” of our old life--things left over from the past, as we live a resurrected/transformed life.
Roxanne and I had a time to share our testimony and call to serve here in Mexico.
There were times of discussion and strategy as a team. All of this reminded us of the annual staff retreats that we had during our years of ministry with Camp Forest Springs.
There were also times of group games, table games, swimming, and visiting among our new family here.
We had a great time at this conference getting to know our teammates and being introduced to the WEC missionary works going on here in Mexico.
Roxanne and I especially enjoyed the ministry of Louis and Susan Sutton our US Sending Base leaders. The Lord used their ministry in our lives when we first left CFS and went to Pennsylvania for our missionary training with WEC International. And now, He has seen fit to use them again in our lives as we begin our Mexico field service.

We enjoyed seeing all of the pictures and news.
The cabin looks great and we are thankful for the good work of the Team with Kerra.
Pauline says: just “Risa"ntly saw the puppy’s picture - you gotta bring her with you when you come on furlough - she’s a cutie.
Your reports are very encouraging when we pray for you all each day and see the work progressing.
It’s a super web page.
