Central Mexico

Work Team from Camp Forest Springs--Part 1

The main project that they focused on took several days to complete. These guys worked hard in the hot Mexican sunshine to paint the new cabin at El Monte.

Here are the before and after shots!

What a difference!

It took three days to finish the job with many hands working. This is how it went…

What a great group! They had great attitudes and great work ethic. We never heard a complaint. If you don’t believe me that it was hot, here’s proof from the thermometer in the rear-view mirror of our car.

Yes that says 105! But somehow with the arid climate, it didn’t seem all that bad. The heat comes more in the afternoons, but the mornings and evenings are beautiful.

Thanks team!

I’ll share more about their time with us and some of the other things we did during their visit in future posts.

Loved the before and after shots.  They really gives one a sense of the progress.  Would love to come visit some day.

Dawn, the heat is really not all that bad.  The humididty is very low and with a little breeze, there’s a big difference between the shade and sun.  I kinda think you’d actually like it.  Ask Kerra.  Of course, the swimming pool helps!
