WEC = Worldwide Evangelization for Christ
WEC International is committed to seeing Jesus Christ known, loved and worshipped among the peoples who have yet to hear the Gospel. WEC has around 2000 workers, from about 50 countries, serving in multicultural teams among 90 unreached peoples.
The newest sending base in Mexico will facilitate the need to train and equip Latin missionaries with a focus on the 10/40 Window.
How will the unreached hear the Gospel? In the words of WEC's founder, CT Studd, "This can be accomplished only by a red-hot, unconventional, unfettered devotion, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to the Lord Jesus Christ."
The founder defined the following principles for the work:
- Absolute faith in the deity of each Person of the Trinity.
- Absolute belief in the full inspiration of the Old and New Testament Scriptures.
- Total commitment to know and to preach none other than Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
- Obedience to Christ’s command to love all who love the Lord Jesus sincerely, without partiality, and to love all people.
- Absolute faith in the will, power and providence of God to meet our every need in His service.
